Introductions

Hello and welcome to the first post on the development of our game! Every week we will be giving a behind the scenes look here on what we are up to and how we are getting it done. We plan to alternate each week with major overviews of progress from the whole team and more detailed posts focusing specifcally on a task done by a member of the team.

So to start let me introduce myself, I'm Taj and my role within the team is Marketing Lead and Co-Producer, my focus is leading the marketing of the game (as the name suggests) which includes this blog. I'll also be organising promotional material such as posters, logos, press kits and major details of events and demos of the game. As I'm also the Co-Producer along with Kelly, we share the tasks of keeping all the development running smoothly and running tasks in logical orders as to keep us chugging along, luckly for me this doesn't mean a huge amount of work as this team has been great to work with!

Hi! My name is She (Dexter), and I am the test lead for Mobility. The test lead must ensure that the game works correctly and finds bugs. Besides, the test lead needs to do questionnaires about the game for every new version and provide some feedback on the game. The current task is to check whether the latest version and updates are working correctly and look for some new bugs in the game.

Hey everyone reading, my name's Ronan and I'm the tech lead for Mobility. My role involves me working closely with Unity, developing the project and putting it all together. I've written all the code for the project, and even though it's not the best, it works, and isn't that all we can ask for as game developers? I'm really excited to continue to develop this project with this team, I think it will turn out pretty damn good.

Hi, my name is Melissa and I’m the art lead of this team. My job is to ensure that all the art in our game remains consistent from 3D models to 2D art. I’m also one of the modellers working on the assets of the levels. My main focus so far with modelling has been towards construction based models and science lab equipment models. As the project continues though I’ll be working on whatever is needed to pretty up our game for it’s debut at the Perth games festival.

Hey guys! I'm Kelly and I'm the design lead and co-producer for Mobility. My role is to pretty much keep the design of our game making sense. That is, ensuring all elements, from mechanics to UI to sound design, are coherent and align with our vision of the game, and how all these aspects are conveyed to you, the player. I also keep track of everyone's tasks, but I don't have to worry about that too much with such a great team.

And thats us! We hope you'll enjoy watching our progress through development as much as you'll enjoy the game!
